Camp Fire Circle
Located in the woods. This can be booked in advance, or you may use an alter fire on one of the 14 campsite concrete fire bases.
Double 40m Zip wire
Lots of fun to be had zipping down our zip wire!
Helmets should be worn and are provided.
Aeroball
Almost like Volleyball, not quite like Basketball and not a mere Trampoline. Aeroball merges all three activities into a Vertical Action Game that is the Ultimate Sports Experience! To help your further enjoyment please see our Rules and Strategies. Available April to October.
Low Ropes
Our exciting low ropes course has 10 elements and is designed for individuals from Brownies to adults to learn about themselves, others and how they work with others by working through challenges together in a team.
Participants should be allowed to plan as a group, make mistakes, have a chance to correct them and enjoy their successes with little involvement from the leader. Helmets are provided and must be worn by all participants. A leader who has attended our familiarisation course must be in attendance to supervise the group. Suggested ratio of 1:8
Grass Sledges
Experience the fun of tobogganing, but without the snow, using our x 8 grass sledges. Helmets are provided.
Orienteering Course
Four routes – short, medium, long and star are permanently available. The maps are available to download:
You can print your Control Cards here or they can be obtained from the Heyswood Shop. To assist Leaders we have Orienteering Solutions.
The Orienteering Course has now been completely refurbished with new recycled posts and all courses and clippers are clearly accessible. The three posts in the wooded area have been relocated slightly towards the edge of our track whilst the A3 works are affecting our site.
