We offer a variety of accommodation including two fully equipped residential buildings, a self-contained cottage, camping cabin and 14 camp sites.
With onsite activities and a wealth of space to explore, Heyswood offers exciting opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Camping trips, residential stays and daytime and evening bookings are all welcome.
Camping
There are 14 Camp sites each with solid cooking base & fire grill, easy access to wood and water. Two sets of shared showers and flush toilets are available for campers. Tents and camping equipment available for hire.
Activity centre
- Accommodates maximum of 28: – 6 adults in two Leaders rooms – 22 young people in 10 bunk beds and 2 single beds.
- Large washroom with 2 showers, 4 toilets and 7 wash basins.
- Fitted kitchen with hatchway to activities/dining room.
- Heating/electricity included in the fees.
Baden Powell Lodge
- Accommodates maximum of 28 – 4 adults in 2 leader rooms with a separate toilet, wash basin and shower
- 24 young people in 5 rooms each with a mix of single beds and bunk beds. (4 rooms sleep 5; 1 room sleeps 4).
- Fitted kitchen with hatchway and door into the dining /activity room.
- Washroom with 2 showers, 3 toilets and 4 basins.

- Small conservatory for Leaders to relax at the end of the day.

The Cottage
The cottage is for smaller groups, offering a great place for a ranger weekend or a leader’s retreat.

- 2 bedrooms, one has 2 bunk beds and one has 1 bunk bed and a single bed
- Fully fitted kitchen
- Lounge with dining room table, sofa and 2 soft chairs.

Log cabin
- Indoor area for activities, meetings and sleeping.

West Hut
The west hut is ideal for a group camping that would like a shelter with a few extra comforts.
